JUMP INTO ADVENTURE AT 2,100 METERS
Fast-paced fun on a 4 km race track guaranteed! Experience the ultimate downhill thrill in the Alps! The brand-new mountain kart track in Schlick 2000 runs from the Froneben Alm to the Kreuzjochbahn middle station.
Over a length of almost 4 kilometers and 640 meters of elevation, state-of-the-art karts race through forest passages and rapid curves – a nature experience with guaranteed fun for the whole family.
Includes a photo stop with mountain panorama!
How to find us:
Purchase a ticket for the uphill ride at the valley station and take the gondola to the top station of the Kreuzjochbahn at 2,100 m. There, you’ll find the start of the race track and the registration area for karting.
The finish line is located at the Schlicker Alm at 1,600 m. After your race, you’ll receive a free “Kart Water” to refresh yourself. Afterwards, enjoy a 30-minute downhill walk to the middle station, where you can buy another lift ticket for the ride back down to the valley.
Whether with your family, as a group, or solo—with us, you can enjoy action-packed descents at attractive prices.
Per kart €18
Young people aged 10 and over may drive themselves when accompanied by an adult; all children under the age of 10 must ride as passengers.
We are happy to create customized offers for groups—just ask and get rolling!
The route is always open except in the event of heavy rain or storms, when the gondola service is suspended. If in doubt, please call to check whether the route is open.
Helmet included. Please remember to bring: sunscreen / safety glasses / long pants / sturdy shoes. If possible, please come without a backpack; there is the option to bring it along if there is space available.

From June 15, 2025, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – starts every hour on the hour. Experience action and driving fun on three wheels: race down the mountain in a mountain kart – safe, stable, and suitable for the whole family.
Since June 2025, mountain karts have been available every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kreuzjoch mountain station in the Schlick hiking center, taking riders down to the Schlickeralm. As previously reported, the route is around four kilometers long, covers an altitude difference of 500 meters, includes a few bends, especially in the upper section, and is not too steep. “You can take the ride at a leisurely pace or go full speed.
